SNCB International offers daily high speed train connections to Cologne with Eurostar and with the ICE trains. There's nothing more convenient than the train to get to the heart of Cologne, as the main rail station is literally located at the foot of the famous cathedral. 
7 - 8 March: ICE Brussels-Frankfurt to depart earlier from Brussels-Midi/Zuid and not calling at Brussels-Nord/Noord

Due to engineering works at Bruxelles-Nord/Brussel-Noord station, the ICE trains connecting Brussels with Frankfurt will be diverted from their usual itinerary in Brussels on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March 2026. As a consequence, they will be following an adapted schedule:

  • ICE trains to Germany will depart a few minutes earlier from Bruxelles-Midi/Brussel-Zuid than initially scheduled
  • ICE trains in both directions will exceptionally not be calling at Bruxelles-Nord/Brussel-Noord
