Head to Lille from Brussels at high speed and without changes, in only 35 minutes. Eurostar or TGV® Brussels-France will whisk you off to Lille’s city centre, a true paradise for shopaholics and culture lovers.
In Brussels (Midi/Zuid), get aboard TGV Brussels-France or Eurostar and set off for Lille, the main city of northern France. The train will get you straight there from the Belgian capital in a little over 30 minutes.
After a relaxing trip on board the train, your journey will end at Lille’s international train station, Lille Europe. This station’s located in the Euralille shopping centre in the heart of the city. It’s served by numerous international trains, making it the ideal starting point for journeys to other French destinations, but also for travellers on their way to Great Britain.

Due to announced strike in Belgium, the rail service on the Belgian rail network will be limited from Sunday 23 March (10 pm) to Sunday 30 March 2025 included.
An alternative train service will be put in place depending on the available staff. The detailed schedule for every day will be available 48h ahead on www.belgiantrain.be.
Please take alternative service into account if you are travelling on our cross-border local trains to/from Lille, Maubeuge, Luxembourg, Roosendaal, Maastricht or Aachen or if you need to take a local connection in Belgium before or after your international journey.
No consequences have been announced for international trains (Eurostar, TGV INOUI, ICE, OUIGO etc...) so far, except for:
Monday 24 March to Wednesday 26 March
Eurocity Direct (Brussels-Amsterdam): half of the trains operating. Notice, however, that they will terminate in Rotterdam until Thursday 27 March due to planned engineering works in the Netherlands. Cancelled trains from Monday 24 to Wednesday 26 March:
EuroCity (Brussels-Rotterdam): 10 out of 16 trains operating in each direction. Cancelled trains from Monday 24 to Wednesday 26 March:
ightjet: the train from Vienna and Berlin of Tuesday 25/3 will terminate in Cologne. The train to Vienna and Berlin of Wednesday 26/3 will depart from Cologne. Between Cologne and Brussels/Liège, passengers can use ICE trains.
