Train to the flower oasis

Board the comfortable InterCity train or the Eurostar and travel effortlessly and quickly to Schiphol Airport. Upon arrival at Schiphol, all you have to do is take a seat in the shuttle bus that is ready to pick you up. This bus will take you right outside the gates of the park in no time, leaving you just a few steps away from a day of fun and floral beauty.

Plan your visit

  • Opening time. Keukenhof is open in spring from late March to mid-May. Open daily from 8am - 7.30pm, including Sundays and public holidays.
  • Price. Book your tickets online in advance and combine the shuttle bus from Schiphol Airport with an entrance ticket.
  • Facilities. Keukenhof is a wheelchair-friendly flower park, offers free WI-FI and provides lockers/baggage storage.
  • Dogs. Good news for the animal lover too! Leashed dogs are allowed in the park (max. 1 per person).

Activities on the agenda

  • Flower shows. From classic tulip creations to contemporary floral art, there is something for everyone.
  • Art exhibitions. Keukenhof has teamed up with the Kröller-Müller Museum to add breathtaking art objects to the floral displays.
  • Inspirational gardens. From a tropical beach garden to a graffiti garden, immerse yourself and draw new energy and inspiration from your visit to the gardens.
  • Bicycle tour. Bicycles are available for the more adventurous, making your visit to the flower landscape faster and more sporty.
  • Whisper boat. Take the electric whisper boat and visit the park from a different perspective with the help of an audio guide.
  • Playground, animal park, maze and scavenger hunt. Collect clues and complete the scavenger hunt, or go climbing and scrambling in the playground. Plenty of adventure for every child!
  • Grab a bite to eat. Keukenhof provides some cosy restaurants and mobile eateries to enjoy something to eat and drink.

Our tips for making the most of Keukenhof

  • Travel by public transport. To travel quickly and without worrying about payment or finding a parking space, simplify your life and travel by train. Combined tickets (shuttle and entry ticket) guarantee a smooth journey.
  • Bring your own lunch. That way, you'll have more time to enjoy the place and save money at the same time.
  • Buy your tickets in advance. Buying your tickets online and in advance will save you money and avoid you having to queue.
  • Plan your visit in the morning. If you prefer peace and quiet and want to avoid the crowds, we recommend starting your visit in the morning.
  • Plan your visit for March and April. These are the best months to see the most beautiful and richest carpet of flowers.
