Thanks to the direct TGV® and ICE trains, you’ll get from Paris to Frankfurt in less than 4 hours.
Book your tickets four months in advance to get the best fares on offer.
Your journey begins at Paris Est train station, where you’ll find TGV® and ICE trains (regrouped as “TGV®/ICE Germany) offering daily connections to Frankfurt.
The TGV® or ICE trains will take you to the city of Frankfurt in only 3 hours 48 minutes, passing by Strasbourg or Forbach and with a few intermediary stops (among others in Mannheim).
Your arrival station is Frankfurt Hbf, the city’s central station. Here, numerous public transportation services connect to tourist and business sites in a few minutes, as well as to the airport. An important rail hub in Germany, Frankfurt Hbf also provides you with links to other German cities or destinations such as Switzerland, Austria or Eastern Europe.
SNCF was the victim last night of several acts of malice affecting the Atlantic, Northern and Eastern high-speed lines. Traffic is severely disrupted on these lines. Disruption possible throughout the weekend. SNCF Voyageurs recommends its customers to postpone their trip.
Impact on trains to/from Belgium:
If you are travelling between Brussels and Lille (FR), we advise you to travel via Tournai, from where you can take IC trains to Lille Flandres (FR). Your TGV ticket remains valid for this journey.
There is currently no traffic departing from Paris Montparnasse.
All customers scheduled to travel this weekend will be contacted again. Check whether your train is running or not (in French only) >
