These discount cards can be used our website, depending on your route and train type (other discount cards to be used through our Contact Centre). Please note: you must show your card or proof of entitlement on-board.

Train+ (SNCB)

With Train+ you enjoy discounts during off-peak times, weekends and public holidays and capped fares on the Belgian part of cross-border journeys with conventional trains (not on high speed trains).

Preferential Reimbursement (SNCB)

If you're a beneficiary of Preferential Reimbursement, you get 40% discount on the Belgian part of cross-border journeys with conventional trains.

100% discount Belgium (SNCB)

Holders of a valid travel pass, Unlimited Season Ticket or token for free transport on the Belgian rail network (visual impaired travellers, parliament members, police in uniform etc.) do not pay for the Belgian part of international journeys with conventional trains.

40% discount Netherlands (NS)

Depending on the conditions of their season ticket (route, time of travel etc.), holders of some types of NS season tickets 40% discount on the Dutch part of an international journey with conventional trains.

100% discount Netherlands (NS)

Depending on the conditions of their season ticket (route, time of travel etc.), some types of NS season tickets cover the Dutch part of an international journey with conventional trains. Holders of a pass valid on the Dutch network also travel for free in the Netherlands (except on Eurostar).

100% discount Luxembourg (CFL)

Holders of a valid travel pass, Network Railcard or token for free transport in 1st class on the Luxembourg rail network do not have to pay for the Luxembourg part of an international journey with conventional trains (in 2nd class, free travel in Luxembourg applies to everyone).

Frequent Pass (Eurostar)

Holders of a Eurostar Frequent Pass enjoy reduced fares and even more flexible travel conditions on the chosen Eurostar route.

Premium Pass (Eurostar)

Holders of a Eurostar Premium Pass enjoy reduced fares and even more flexible travel conditions in Premium between Brussels and Paris.

Bahncard 25 1st class (DB)

25% discount in Germany in 1st class when travelling with ICE or conventional trains (not valid on Eurostar).

Bahncard 25 2nd class (DB)

25% discount in Germany in 2nd class when travelling with ICE or conventional trains (not valid on Eurostar).

Bahncard 50 1st class (DB)

50% discount in Germany in 1st class when travelling with ICE or conventional trains (not valid on Eurostar).

Carte Avantage Jeune (SNCF)

For travellers aged 12 to 27. Offers 30% discount on all journeys with TGV INOUI (in France and Europe) and Intercités (in France).

Carte Avantage Senior (SNCF)

For travellers aged 60 or more. Offers 30% discount on all journeys with TGV INOUI (in France and Europe) and Intercités (in France).

Carte Liberté (SNCF)

Offers 45% discount in 1st class and 60% discount in 2nd class on all journeys with TGV INOUI (in France and Europe) and Intercités (in France).

Carte Avantage - child companion (SNCF)

Discount children aged 4 to 11 years old who travel together with the holder of a valid Carte Avantage or Carte Liberté (max. accompanying children per card holder).

Half-Fare Travelcard (SBB)

The Swiss Half Fare travelcard (SBB-CFF-FFS) offers 50% discount in Switzerland (not valid on TGV Lyria)

Travel update

8 March (from 10 pm) to 11 March: alternative train service in Belgium8 March (from 10 pm) to 11 March: strike in Belgium

Due to announced strike, fewer trains will be operating on the Belgian rail network from Sunday 8 March (10 pm - CET) to Friday 11 March 2026 included.

An alternative train service will be drawn up based on available train staff. All details on this alternative train service will be available 24h in advance on www.belgiantrain.be.

Please take this alternative train service into account if you need to take a domestic connection in Belgium before or after an international train journey, or if you need to take our regional trains just across the border (Roosendaal, Maastricht, Aachen, Luxembourg, Lille or Maubeuge).

For the time being, we still don't know the possible impact of this strike on international trains (EuroCity, Eurocity Direct, TGV INOUI, Eurostar, OUIGO, ICE etc.). Please check this page regularly for further updates.

7 - 8 March: ICE Brussels-Frankfurt to depart earlier from Brussels-Midi/Zuid and not calling at Brussels-Nord/Noord

Due to engineering works at Bruxelles-Nord/Brussel-Noord station, the ICE trains connecting Brussels with Frankfurt will be diverted from their usual itinerary in Brussels on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March 2026. As a consequence, they will be following an adapted schedule:

ICE trains to Germany will depart a few minutes earlier from Bruxelles-Midi/Brussel-Zuid than initially scheduled
ICE trains in both directions will exceptionally not be calling at Bruxelles-Nord/Brussel-Noord

These changes are integrated in our journey planner.
