From Thursday 6 August to Sunday 23 August 2026 inclusive, engineering works are planned on the high-speed line between Brussels and the French border. During these works, Eurostar and TGV INOUI trains will be diverted via an alternative route, resulting in longer journey times.
Our journey planner, booking system and ticket details already takes these changes into account.
Due to engineering works between Brussels and Antwerp, the Eurocity Direct will only operate between Amsterdam and Antwerp-Central (instead of Brussels) on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August 2026.
Between Antwerp and Brussels, passengers can make use of SNCB, which will follow an adapted schedule and/or itinerary.
The timetables shown in our journey planner already take these changes into account.
Due to planned engineering works, the Eurocity Direct (Brussels-Amsterdam) will exceptionally terminate at Amsterdam Central station instead of Amsterdam Zuid, and will therefore not continue to Almere and Lelystad on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September 2026.
In the opposite direction, the Eurocity Direct to Brussels will depart from Amsterdam Central as well.
Moreover, it will be diverted from their usual itinerary between Rotterdam and Amsterdam and will therefore not serve Schiphol Airport. Between Rotterdam and Schiphol Airport, passengers can use domestic trains operated by NS.

Due to planned engineering works on the regional rail network in northern France, no OUIGO trains will be operating between Brussels, Mons and Paris on Sunday 20 September 2026.
Eurostar trains will operate on the high speed line between Brussels and Paris as usual.
