Eurostar trains provide direct services from the British to the European capital. Forget the plane and hop aboard one of the Eurostar high-speed trains.
Your journey begins at St Pancras International station, where before boarding the Eurostar trains, you will have to go through check-in. In order to enter the Schengen Area, verification of identity and travel documents is required. During these security checks, baggage and passengers alike need to go through a scanner.
Check-in1 is located in a specially designed terminal. The Terminal also offers various recreational facilities for when you’re waiting to board your train to Brussels. Relax in one of the cafés, shops or comfortable lounge areas before your departure. Find the check-in on the station plan >
Once aboard Eurostar, you’ll travel to Brussels – through the Channel Tunnel – at 300 km/h and in only 1:48.
Upon your arrival at Brussels-Midi station, you’ll find a wide range of public transport lines (tram, metro, bus or even train) on offer, so you can start your visit to Brussels with ease. If you’re up for it, you can even rent a bicycle and head to Grand Place, Manneken Pis and the city’s many other tourist attractions!
1 We recommend our clients to present themselves at check-in 45 minutes before the train’s departure.
Update 24/11, 9:20am
Due to a national strike, the rail service on the Belgian rail network will be limited from Sunday 23 November (10 pm - CET) to Wednesday 26 November 2025 included.
An alternative train service has been drawn up based on available train staff. All details on this alternative train service are available on www.belgiantrain.be.
Please take this alternative train service into account if you need to take a domestic connection in Belgium before or after an international train journey, or if you need to take our regional trains just across the border (Roosendaal, Maastricht, Aachen, Luxembourg, Lille or Maubeuge).
