Austrail Flexipass
The Austrail Flexi Pass offers all-over flexibility on the whole Australian rail network and is available for travel over 15 or 22 days in a six-month period.
The pass is valid on the following trains: the Ghan, Gulflander, Indian Pacific, Inlander, Kuranda Scenic Railway, Overland, Spirit of the Outback, Sunlander, Tilt train, Westlander, Xplorer, XPT.
Conditions
The Austrail Flexi Pass allows unlimited travel in Economy/Red Kangaroo Service Seats.
- One “travel day” is a period of 24 hours. An overnight trip from departing around 9 p.m. and arriving around 9 a.m. is regarded as one “travel day”. The pass cannot be used for a trip prior to the first validity date and after midnight on the last day of validity. Upgrades to 1st class or a sleeping berth are possible upon payment of the applicable upgrade amount.
- The Austrail Flexi Pass is valid for use on the following railway systems: Great Southern Rail, QR Traveltrain, Countrylink, CityRail services from NSW State Rail, Kuranda Scenic Railway and the Gulflander. The pass is not valid for use on the Traveltrain Holidays, Citytrain or the Savannah Lander.
- The Austrail Flexi Pass is only available for purchase by overseas visitors to Australia. Passengers must carry their passport with them at all times for possible inspection.
- To ensure passengers obtain maximum value from their Austrail Flexi Pass, they are strongly advised to reserve their seats prior to arrival in Australia. For full conditions and important travel tips please refer to the information provided with the Austrail Flexi Pass. The pass is only available for full adult fares. The pass is subject to a fuel price surcharge for bookings on The Ghan, Indian Pacific and The Overland.
- Unused (non-validated) passes are eligible for a full refund. No refund is payable on passes that have been validated, nor are refunds allowed on lost or stolen passes.
