TGV to Italy, Spain, Switzerland and Luxemburg

Besides the TGV trains heading to France directly from Brussels or criss-crossing the French domestic network, there are several TGV trains speeding from Paris to Switzerland as well.

Comfortably embark on the TGV Lyria in Paris (Gare de Lyon or Gare de l'Est, depending on your destination), and you will be arriving in the middle of the Alps or on the banks of Lake Leman in no time.

 

TGV Lyria daily offers the following services:

  • Paris (Gare de Lyon) - Geneva: up to 7 times per day
  • Paris (Gare de Lyon) - Lausanne (via Dijon): up to 5 times per day
  • Paris (Gare de Lyon) - Neuchâtel - Bern*: up to 2 times per day
  • Paris (Gare de l'Est) - Basel* - Zürich*: up to 4 times per day

 

* There are also direct Eurocity trains leaving every day from Brussels to Bern (EC train 91 'Vauban') and to Zürich (EC train 97 'Iris'). Tickets available at our stations.

 

The TGV Artesia linking France with Italy : 3 trains per day

TGV Artesia connects the French capital with northern Italy. From Paris (Gare de Lyon), TGV Artesia takes you three times a day to Bardonecchia, Oulx-Cesana-Sestriere, Turin, Vercelli, Novara and Milan.

 

The TGV linking France with Spain: 2 trains per day

Since recently, you can take the high speed train TGV from France to the north-eastern part of Spain. A new high speed line links Paris to Figueras (Spain) via Montpelier and Perpignan.

Each day, two TGV trains head from Paris-Nord to the Costa Brava, arriving in the brand new Catalunian station Figueres-Vilafant. From there, you can take normal Spanish railway connections to Girona or Barcelona.

 

And also... the TGV from Luxembourg to Paris: up to 5 trains per day

With the new "TGV Est Européen" high speed line, TGV now takes you up to five times a day from Luxembourg to Paris (Gare de l'Est) in a mere 2h05, also serving Thionville, Metz and the new station of Meuse TGV.
