Who is Railteam?

Railteam is a cooperation between Europe's leading high-speed rail operators, currently DB (Germany), SNCF (France), Eurostar UK (UK), NS Hispeed (Netherlands), ÖBB (Austria), SBB (Switzerland) and SNCB (Belgium), as well as their high-speed subsidiaries Eurostar, Thalys and Lyria, with the possibility of more train operators joining in the future.

With Bruxelles-Midi as one of the main hubs of Europe's high speed network (Bruxelles-Midi is served by Thalys, Eurostar, TGV and ICE), SNCB has a key position within Railteam.

Travellers' benefits

Within the European network, you can already experience a premium quality centre to centre service, with high-speed trains offering high levels of comfort, punctuality and reliability. Each of the partners prides itself on the quality of their individual services, but with Railteam they have joined forces to make sure that your door-to-door journey is better coordinated for a more seamless experience.

Railteam is currently working to facilitate booking, exchange and cancellation of your rail journeys within Europe, but also to offer high level multilingual service across the borders, to extend existing frequent traveller programmes to other Railteam partners, to offer access to the 36 business lounges all over Europe etc...

More information about Railteam

At the five main Railteam hubs (Bruxelles-Midi, Lille-Europe, Stuttgart, Cologne and Frankfurt) and other major stations*, multilingual staff and information points will be available to help you find your way and to make your connection as simple as possible.

* Unless expressly stated otherwise, all fares quoted are per person/per leg (VAT included) based on an online reservation for a 2nd class return from Brussels. Please note, terms and conditions apply. Tip: As the number of seats at the lowest fares on Thalys, Eurostar, TGV and ICE is limited, we recommend that you book your trip as early as possible. Most international trains allow reservations to be made from 3 months before the date of departure (from 4 months on Eurostar).
