With Elipsos Hotel Trains, you can combine the enjoyment of travelling by night train with the comfort of a modern hotel.

Elipsos Hotel Trains offer a wide range of compartments, in terms of both capacity (single, double, or 4-beds) and comfort (Gran Classe, Business, Tourist).

Every compartment has air-conditioning and gentle, filtered lighting. They are all equipped with individual washbasins, and, in the Gran Classe, even have shower and WC.

On-board catering

In the restaurant you will find a varied, sophisticated menu. In the bar car, you can get to know your fellow-travellers while you enjoy your favourite drink, and, finally,spend a peaceful night in the comfort of a real bed!

If you're travelling Business Class or Gran Classe, breakfast will be served in the morning before you reach your destination, so that you can start your day in the best possible way.

Night comfort

Whether you are travelling alone, with two, with the family or among friends, there is a suitable offering of berths or beds for every travel group. Thello offers you compartments with 4 or 6 berths and cabins for 1, 2 or 3 people, with a washstand.

Have you found your place on the train? The steward(ess) will inform you about how the journey will proceed and about the formalities for the border crossing in Switzerland*.

* Thello trains travel through Switzerland. Non-EU citizens must have a passport and visa.

On-board catering

There is a carriage with a bar and restaurant on every Thello train. It is available to you for the duration of your journey, or you may simply wait until the catering trolley passes by for snacks and drinks.

• In the restaurant: warm and cold meals of French and Italian cuisine as well as a selection of wine
• In the bar: drinks, sandwiches, salads, soups and other hot dishes
• On the catering trolley (evening and morning): drinks, sandwiches and sweets
