Eurostar Fares
Eurostar offers different fares that vary according to:
- travel class (Standard, Standard Premier, Business Premier)
- flexibility (non-flexible, semi-flexible, fully flexible)
- passenger category (child, youth, adult, senior)
- availability
Fares automatically include mandatory booking fees, so that we can guarantee your seat.
Availability of seats in Standard and Standard Premier is limited. The earlier you book, the better your chance of getting the fare you want.

Travel classes and ticket flexibility
Within our three different travel classes, Standard, Standard Premier and Business Premier, you can choose from three levels of ticket flexibility:
- Non-Flexible: no exchange or refunds
- Semi-Flexible: exchange or refund at an additional fee (€ 40 per person each way)
- Fully Flexible: exchange or refund without additional costs
Eurostar fares vary according to the selected travel class and ticket flexibility. For instance, the Standard class Non-Flexible fare is the most economical.
Fares for specific passenger groups
Adult fare:
- For passengers aged between 26 and 60 on the day of travel. In certain circumstances, passengers under 26 or over 60 can travel at the Adult fare. For instance, with specific promotions, in order to travel in a different class, for increased ticket flexibility or availability.
- Travel class: Standard, Standard Premier, Business Premier
- Flexibility: Non-Flexible, Semi-Flexible, Fully Flexible
Child fare:
- The Child fare applies to children under 4 who require a separate seat. Children under 4 can travel free if no separate seat is booked for them (1 child per accompanying adult). For safety reasons, registration at the check-in desk is mandatory. Children aged between 4 and 12 require their own separate seat at the Child fare.
- Travel class: Standard, Standard Premier
- Flexibility: Semi-flexible
Youth fare:
- For young people under 26 on the day of travel. Where a return trip is taken, the passenger must prove that he was under 26 on the day of the outbound journey.
- Travel class: Standard
- Flexibility: Non-Flexible
Senior fare:
- For passengers aged 60 or over on the day of travel.
- Travel class: Standard
- Flexibility: Non-Flexible
Wheelchair user fare:
- For wheelchair users, adults or children between 4 and 12. Passengers need to carry documentary evidence of the need for a wheelchair.
- Travel class: Business Premier, Standard Premier
- Flexibility: Fully Flexible
Wheelchair user's companion fare:
- For passengers accompanying someone who is entitled to the Wheelchair user fare (max. one adult companion per wheelchair user or two companions per child).
- Travel class: Business Premier, Standard Premier
- Flexibility: Fully Flexible
Blind person's companion fare:
- For any passenger accompanying a blind person (who is in possesses of documentary evidence confirming his/her condition).
- Travel class: Business Premier, Standard Premier
- Flexibility: Fully Flexible
Eurostar Frequent Traveller loyalty programme

How does it work? Each time you travel on Eurostar, you earn points. You can exchange these points for great gifts and offers. For instance: If you make three return journeys in Business Premier, you earn enough points for a free Standard ticket.
How to come a member of the Eurostar Frequent Traveller programme: You need to make at least one journey at a fare that is eligible for the programme (at least € 285).

Leaving from a Belgian station, but not Brussels? Buy the Connection ticket!
Not starting out from Brussels Midi, but from a different Belgian station? Then you can buy a Connection ticket, valid from any Belgian station, in combination with your Eurostar ticket.
The price of this Connection ticket is € 6.30 each way in 2nd class and € 9.70 in 1st class. With the Connection ticket you can travel on domestic SNCB trains between any Belgian station and Brussels-Midi (your Eurostar departure station). This connecting journey in Belgium can be made from the day before your outward journey and/or until the morning after your return journey on Eurostar.
And within the Brussels area?
Eurostar tickets from or to Brussels-Midi are valid in the entire Brussels area. In other words, you do not need a Connection ticket to travel by train within the Brussels area to (or from) Brussels-Midi: your Eurostar ticket is enough!
