International EuroCity trains

  • 2 daily EC trains from Brussels to Luxembourg, the Alsace and Switzerland
  • Seat reservation optional but recommended
  • Up to 25% discount for holders of a Railplus card

Every day, 2 direct Eurocity trains depart from Brussels to Basle (Switzerland), via Namur, Luxembourg and the East of France. These trains are called Vauban (EC 91/90) and Iris (EC 97/96).

Of course, there are many other EuroCity trains in other parts of Europe. For example, there are several EuroCity trains connecting Germany to eastern Europe, Austria and Italy. All these are available through SNCB Europe as well.
