London’s public transport system offers the easiest way to discover the city! London is divided into 9 zones. Zones 1-2 are the ones for inner city transport. Tickets are valid on the Underground system, buses and on the Docklands Light Railway.
The London Underground system, also referred to as the Tube, operates from Monday until Saturday between 5 a.m. and 1 a.m. and on Sundays between 7 a.m. and midnight. The red London buses are widely known and operate day and night.
To help you get around London, we suggest the London Visitor Travelcard, valid for 1 or 3 days, for 2 zones on the London public transport network.
This card is valid over the whole London underground and (red) bus system. It means you can travel as much as you like for 1 or 3 days in zones 1 and 2 (centre of London) or 6 zones.
- 1 day - zones 1 and 2 (Central London): 8,20 €
- 1 day - 6 zones: 10,00 €
You can buy a voucher for the London Visitor Travelcard at most of our points of sale. You can then exchange this voucher at the Departure Today counter at Brussels-Midi (just by the Eurostar departure terminal).
