Do you perhaps fancy a bit of freeride snowboarding? Or maybe you would prefer to spend time polishing up your mojo? In that case, you will find the ski village Wörgl quite enough of a challenge to blow you clean off your skis! With no fewer than 279 kilometres of ski runs, 91 ski lifts, and an amusement park to boot, you’ll think you’ve landed in snow-heaven.

And after your daily rations of exhausting snow-and-fun winter entertainment, you can thaw out inside one of the numerous ‘après ski’ bars. Let the good times roll or should we say... slide (like down the mountain!).

Tips and practical information

Wörgl

Want to partake of a truly chilling experience during your ski vacation in Wörgl? No problem... descend into the one and only ice cave in northern Tyrol: the Buchacker Eishöhle. Stand transfixed before the most bizarre ice formations you’ve ever seen and never imagined! But don’t neglect to come equipped with heavy headgear and warm gloves, since it tends to get a bit on the cool side so far down into the bowels of the earth (some 45 metres down!)

Address: Gasteigerstraße, 6320 Angerberg
