What is there to do in Kufstein?
Quite a lot, actually. Does it appeal to you to carve yourself a passage through the snow with your skis or snowboard? You can let it all hang out in the ski region of Thiersee Mitterland. Or would you rather put on your hiking boots? No problem either. Just follow one of the scenic walking trails. Or, perhaps, you are more inclined towards lifting the weightier stuff? In that case, there is, of course, the serious demanding pub-walking exercise with your likeminded mates... you’ll find no dearth of welcoming bars in Kufstein!
And, last but not least, for those who want to relax in between and take in a bit of culture: why not visit the Festung Kufstein (Kufstein Fortress), and while you’re at it, don’t forget the Heldenorgel recitals either. Really brill!
