Quite a lot, actually. Does it appeal to you to carve yourself a passage through the snow with your skis or snowboard? You can let it all hang out in the ski region of Thiersee Mitterland. Or would you rather put on your hiking boots? No problem either. Just follow one of the scenic walking trails. Or, perhaps, you are more inclined towards lifting the weightier stuff? In that case, there is, of course, the serious demanding pub-walking exercise with your likeminded mates... you’ll find no dearth of welcoming bars in Kufstein!

And, last but not least, for those who want to relax in between and take in a bit of culture: why not visit the Festung Kufstein (Kufstein Fortress), and while you’re at it, don’t forget the Heldenorgel recitals either. Really brill!

Tips and practical information

Kufstein

Are you planning a vacation to Kufstein? Don’t be surprised when every day at noon you’ll be treated there to the dulcet tones of one of the largest outdoor organ in the world. During the summer months, the Heldenorgel performs daily 15-minute concert recitals to commemorate the victims of the First World War. You would like to attend a concert of this largest outdoor organ? You can do this easily... on the square before the Bürgerturm, the Burgers’ Tower!

Address: Heldenorgel in Festung Kufstein: Oberer Stadtplatz 6, 6330 Kufstein
