A visit to the fun-loving capital of Germany is never boring. For in swinging Cologne there are many cultural activities. What do you think about a guided tour of the Dom? This famous Gothic cathedral is the largest in Germany! And it is also the symbol of the city! But that is not all! Did you know that you can learn to make Eau de Cologne at a workshop in the famous Perfume House 4711? And that you can really let your hair down in the hippest fashion streets in the Altstadt? You will certainly come home with an entirely new wardrobe! Still not convinced? Than maybe this will do it: you will always find a party there! Set out on a pub crawl and taste Kölsch beer, the special brew of Cologne. Or descend with your friends on a couple of groovy clubs! Book my train tickets to Cologne >

Don’t forget to have a glass of Kolsch ale at a local beer cellar. Warum? Darum! And also because sales of this specialty are forbidden outside Cologne. Naturally, there is a typical regional dish to go with this unique beer. How about half a Hahn, Himmel und Äad of Rheinischer Soorbrode? Herrlich! You can find authentic Kölsch beer in most local pubs. We recommend the Päffgen brewery where they brew their own Päffgen Kölsch beer.
Address: Brauerei Päffgen GmbH & Co. KG, Friesenstraße 64-66, 50670 Köln
